My Story

I was born with cystic fibrosis. My life expectancy depended on how well I could negotiate for treatments that didn’t exist yet.

That’s where I learned something most people spend their careers avoiding: We don’t get what we deserve. We get what we can negotiate.

At a young age, I became fascinated with persuasion, not as a business skill, but as a survival skill. I wasn’t trying to win deals. I was trying to access the next version of my life. That experience shaped everything.

I built frameworks like The IMPACT Method and The Persuasion Playbook to understand how conversations actually move in real moments where outcomes matter.

Today, I’m one of the oldest people in the world living with cystic fibrosis. And the same skill that helped me navigate those conversations is the one I now teach inside organizations every day.
